Condair Receives BIM Leadership Award for Digital Product Data

Digital product data plays an increasingly important role in modern construction projects. At the BIMobject Awards 2026, Condair received the BIM Leadership Award, recognising manufacturers that contribute to the digital transformation of the construction industry.

The award honours companies that make it easier for architects, engineers and consultants to work with manufacturer product data during the design process and integrate technical solutions directly into digital building models.

At Condair, digital product data has been a key part of the company's strategy for several years. The objective is to make it easier for consultants and design engineers to find and use the information they need when incorporating humidity control solutions into construction projects.

BIM is becoming the standard for building design

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is playing an increasingly important role in the design of modern buildings. Digital models make it possible to coordinate building services earlier in the design phase and provide a clearer overview of a building's technical systems.

By integrating manufacturer product data into BIM models, consultants and design engineers can work more efficiently with system sizing, spatial coordination and technical specifications. A BIM object contains not only a 3D model but also valuable information such as dimensions, performance data and product properties that can be used directly during the design process.

This improves coordination between disciplines and provides a stronger basis for decision-making throughout the entire building lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and maintenance.

Digital product data for HVAC and humidity control

Through the BIMobject platform, architects, engineers and other construction professionals can download BIM objects from manufacturers and integrate them directly into design software such as Revit, Archicad and SketchUp.

Over recent years, Condair has invested in making its humidification, dehumidification and evaporative cooling solutions available in BIM format. This enables design teams to incorporate humidity control systems into building projects from the earliest planning and design stages.
