Condair partners with Konvekta to achieve 92% energy recovery

Condair ME evaporative humidifiers are used by Konvekta, a specialist in energy recovery systems, as a standard solution for adiabatic cooling. Integrated into Konvekta's exhaust air cooling systems, the humidifier helps deliver up to 92% annual energy recovery for customers' buildings.

A Konvekta exhaust air cooling system pre-cools incoming outdoor air to reduce the need for mechanical cooling. Within the system, the Condair ME provides low-energy evaporative cooling to the exhaust air extracted from the building. Before the cooled exhaust air is discharged, it passes through a heat recovery system, transferring up to 10°C of cooling to the incoming fresh air.

This allows supply air temperatures to be reduced from 32°C outdoor air to 22–23°C without the use of mechanical cooling.
