Condair acquires KUUL

KUUL is a leading manufacturer of fiberglass and cellulose evaporative cooling media. Its products are used in evaporative cooling systems as well as for adiabatic pre-cooling of chillers and gas turbines. The newly established organisation, Condair – Evaporative Technologies, will significantly expand the distribution of evaporative cooling media worldwide. Condair operates sales companies in 23 countries and works with an extensive network of distribution partners across the globe.

In addition to the acquisition of KUUL, Condair is investing in a new manufacturing facility in Richmond, Virginia, USA. The investment will increase production capacity and strengthen supply chain efficiency to support the rapidly growing US data centre market. The new 37,000 m² facility is scheduled to open in 2025 and is expected to create approximately 180 jobs.

Condair already operates manufacturing facilities in Europe, North America and China, producing a comprehensive range of humidification and evaporative cooling solutions. These include the Condair ME, an energy-efficient evaporative humidification and cooling system for air handling units and duct applications. The system is widely used in data centres, commercial buildings and industrial manufacturing facilities around the world.
