Q: What room sizes are the HP50 and HP25 suitable for?

The Brune HP25 is ideal for small to medium-sized rooms such as basements, living rooms, or storage rooms up to approx. 30–50 m² (depending on humidity load). The Brune HP50 offers significantly higher performance and is suitable for larger rooms, archives, production areas, or museums up to approx. 80–120 m², also depending on temperature and humidity.

Q: How loud are the devices when in operation?

Both models are designed for permanent indoor use and operate relatively quietly. • HP25: approx. 44–47 dB(A) • HP50: approx. 46–50 dB(A) This makes them suitable for living spaces or work areas without causing significant disturbance.

Q: Do the devices need to be connected to a drain?

No, both devices have integrated water tanks. However, an external condensate drain is available as an option and is particularly useful for continuous operation, e.g., in basements or archives. This eliminates the need to empty the tank manually.
